Jati Kebon stands behind the quality and durability of its products. The following warranty periods apply:

• 5-year warranty on aluminium frames, Sunbrella® fabrics and Serge Ferrari Batyline® slings
• 3-year warranty on wicker weaves
• 2-year warranty on teak, rope, cushions, poufs, outdoor rugs, protective covers and tabletops made from ceramic, glass or HPL

The warranty covers material and manufacturing defects. It applies exclusively to products used privately in non-public spaces, under normal conditions and in accordance with Jati Kebon’s care and usage recommendations.

Warranty exclusions
The warranty does not cover damage or defects resulting from:

• Commercial, contract or collective use
• Normal wear and tear
• Incorrect assembly or installation
• Improper use
• Insufficient or incorrect maintenance
• Negligence
• Failure to follow Jati Kebon’s care and usage recommendations

Inspection upon delivery
Upon delivery, the Buyer is responsible for verifying that the received products correspond with the invoice and for checking the goods for visible damage. Any discrepancy or damage must be reported to the Seller within 24 hours of delivery. If transport was not arranged by Jati Kebon, Jati Kebon cannot be held liable for damage caused during transportation.

Returns
If the Buyer wishes to return a product, the Seller must be notified within 24 hours of delivery. Written authorization from the Seller must be obtained before returning any product.
Returns made without prior written authorization will not be accepted. Returned products must be securely packed in their original packaging or other suitable protective packaging.

Start of the warranty period
The warranty period begins on the date the product is first purchased by the end consumer, as stated on the final purchase invoice.

Material-specific characteristics and exclusions
The following natural characteristics, variations and effects are inherent to the materials used and are therefore not considered material or manufacturing defects.

• Teak: Wood is a natural material. Variations in color, grain and texture are part of its unique character. Exposure to outdoor conditions may cause teak to fade or develop a silver-gray patina. The wood may also expand, contract or develop small cracks over time. The natural oils present in teak may cause stains on adjacent materials, including cushion fabrics. These natural characteristics are not covered by the warranty.
• Aluminium, steel and stainless steel: Scratches, marks and other signs resulting from normal residential use are not covered by the warranty. The same applies to internal or external corrosion caused by condensation, accumulated water, trapped moisture or abnormal environmental conditions. Aluminium is a durable, corrosion-resistant material specifically developed for outdoor use. Temporary discoloration, stains or marks caused by prolonged contact with external materials or conditions are not covered by the warranty. This includes effects caused by trapped moisture, condensation, non-breathable tablecloths, protective covers, PVC materials or other objects that retain moisture between two surfaces. These effects result from external environmental factors and do not indicate a material or manufacturing defect. They may be more noticeable on darker colors than on lighter finishes. To minimize this risk, ensure adequate ventilation and avoid prolonged moisture entrapment between surfaces.
• Outdoor textiles: Slight color variations may occur between different production batches. Variations within the applicable production tolerances are not considered product defects. Signs of normal residential use, minor shrinkage and discoloration caused by incorrect washing or maintenance are not covered by the warranty. Cushion fillings may gradually lose some of their original resilience, while cushion covers may develop wrinkles over time. Both are considered normal effects of use.
• Ceramic and HPL: Stains caused by acidic food or liquids, discoloration resulting from UV exposure through glass, and damage caused by contact with hot objects are not covered by the warranty.

Care and maintenance
To preserve the appearance and durability of your outdoor furniture, we recommend using Jati Kebon’s dedicated cleaning and maintenance products and following the care instructions provided for each material.

Warranty assessment
All warranty claims are subject to assessment and approval by the Supplier. If a claim is found not to meet the warranty conditions, the Supplier will not be liable for compensation or damages unless otherwise agreed in writing.

How to submit a warranty claim
End consumers must contact the authorized dealer or retailer from whom the product was purchased. Dealers, retailers and trade partners should contact their Jati Kebon sales representative or customer service representative. A valid proof of purchase must be retained and presented for the warranty claim to be assessed.
