Jati & Kebon provides a 5 year warranty on aluminium frames, Sunbrella fabrics and Serge Ferrari Batyline slings. Jati & Kebon provides a 2 year warranty on teak (structural components, fittings and mechanisms) ropes, cushions, poufs, carpets, protection covers and table tops in ceramic, glass and HPL. 

The warranty covers material and manufacturing defects and is only valid for private use in non-public areas and under normal usage conditions recommended by the brand. 
 
The warranty does not cover defects caused by use in a commercial and collective environment, wear and tear from normal household use, incorrect installation, lack of maintenance, and negligence. 

Upon delivery of the goods by Jati & Kebon, the buyer is responsible for checking whether the order matches the invoice and whether there is any damage to the delivered goods. Any discrepancies or damage must be reported to the Seller within 24 hours of delivery. If the transport is not provided by Jati & Kebon, any defects resulting from transport cannot be claimed from us.

If the Buyer wishes to return a product, he must notify the Seller within 24 hours of delivery and obtain written confirmation from the Seller prior to returning the product. Returned products will be refused without prior return authorization.

Returned products will also only be accepted when returned in original or convenient packaging.

The warranty starts on the moment of first purchase by the end-consumer, as indicated by the date on the final invoice. 

The following materials are not covered by any warranty due to their specific characteristics:
 

• Teak: Wood is a natural material and can fade in coloration due to weather conditions. Also it can shrink, expand and cracks can become more intense. The natural oils in teak can cause stains on other materials such as cushion textiles. 
• Aluminium, steel and stainless steel: Scratches and blemishes as a result of normal residential use, (internal) rust caused by condensation, accumulated water or abnormal environmental conditions, are not covered by warranty. 
• Outdoor textiles: Textile colours may vary in production batches within a certain tolerance and such variations are not considered non-conformity of the product. Traces of normal residential use, minimal shrinkage and discoloration due to incorrect washing are not covered by the warranty. The carrying capacity of the cushion filling may reduce over time as well as wrinkle formation of the cushion cover. Both are considered the result of normal residential use. 
• Ceramics and HPL: Stains from (sour) food, liquids, UV exposure caused by sunshine through glass and damage due to contact with hot materials are not covered by warranty. 

We advise to use our cleaning and maintenance products for a longer and better durability of your outdoor furniture. 

The supplier will judge the warranty claim. If the Supplier rejects the claim, he doesn’t owe any damages to the buyer, unless agreed otherwise. 

To claim this warranty, you must contact your dealer or retailer from whom you purchased the end product. For dealers, retailers, and trade partners: contact your Jati & Kebon sales or customer service representative. You must keep your proof of purchase to validate your warranty.
