Jati & Kebon put colours in the spotlights at the spoga+gafa fair

Spoga + Gafa fair in Cologne is the exhibition of choice for
every professional who is active in the outdoor furniture sector.

From June 18th to June 20th, Cologne was the vibrant centre of the spoga+gafa event. With more than 1,000 exhibitors from over 50 countries, spoga+gafa is the place where professionals from the outdoor living industry come together to experience the latest trends and products. For our company, this edition was particularly significant as it marked our return after the COVID-19 pandemic and we were present with a brand new booth. A very modern and upscale booth that fully translated the sense of being present at this event once again.

This year,  spoga+gafa was focused on social gardens and colourful innovations.

Social Gardens: A New Dimension

This year's fair was all about “social gardens”; gardens are no longer just a place to unwind or grow your favourite produce or vegetables, but rather a meeting place where social interaction is key. Our company responded strongly to this and introduced some striking innovations that we will explain in more detail below.

New Colours Bring Life

To give outdoor spaces a modern look, new colours have become a must. Within our range of garden furniture, the focus in the past years was mainly on charcoal, white and natural teak colours. But during this year’s spoga+gafa edition, we presented some new colour palettes. Various outdoor sofas and dining chairs were presented in new red, dark green, brownish linen and terra colour. They were absolute eye-catchers within our booth and well-received by its visitors. Even our poufs and decorative pillows provided colourful accents. These new styles give our products not only a contemporary look, but also provide opportunities for creative garden designs.

Accessories: Poufs and Rugs

In addition to colour, the choice of accessories is also very important in creating the right atmosphere in gardens and terraces. We presented a range of new outdoor poufs and outdoor rugs.

A pouf to complement your outdoor space is not only stylish, but also versatile and convenient. They instantly create a cozy atmosphere and can be used in a flexible way to accommodate the need for extra seating. Available in different shapes and colours to enhance your desired garden vibe.

Furthermore we have expanded our range to include rugs in round and rectangular shapes. Decorating gardens with rugs has been an emerging trend in recent years. Whether you go for a more traditional, rustic and Indonesian design or you want to opt for a fresh, contemporary Belgian carpet design, we have a choice for you – crafted and finished to our high-quality standards.

A setting that makes our products shine

Finally, for this edition, Franken has designed for us a completely new booth. In 2021, we first relied on their expertise to design our new, bigger showroom at the Nazareth headquarters. The various light fixtures, lightboxes with photos, and other small accents not only bring warmth and vitality to our showroom but also enhance the presentation of our products. This approach was also applied to our stand for the spoga+gafa fair. Jati & Kebon represents a mix of uncompromising quality and stylish furniture designs, and this booth was a beautiful reflection of that.

An environment to get inspired, to connect, to be amazed and to get new perspectives

Spoga+gafa 2023 was a success for our company as we could get a better feel of the emerging trends and connect with our stand’s visitors. It is also an interesting opportunity to introduce our novelties and get a feel of the market by listening to the feedback from our existing customers and potential buyers. As we refine and put the finishing touch to our outdoor products, by sure to keep an eye on our 2024 collection.
